- About Me -

At the time of writing this, I am a 23 year - old artist, aspiring to someday
work in the video game industry. My background lies mostly in
Illustration and painting, but I have at least a bit of experience
in most basic artistic fields, such as sculpture, video editing,
music, collage, photography, writing etc.
That is to say, I am in no means proficient in these disciplines,
I am at best familiar with most of them.
Nowadays I mostly work digitally, I do a lot of character illustration,
graphic design and 3D modeling, since I have become hugely interested
in game design a while back, and have been trying to teach myself
a lot of the skills that are required in the field.
For illustration I use Clip Studio Paint as well as Aseprite,
although I have been looking to switch out CSP for a while now.
For 3D and Video Editing I stick to Blender, and my DAW of choice is Reaper.

I've recently become really tired of social media and the predatory
algorithms that come along with it, so I decided to make this website,
as a way to showcase my artistic projects.
You can find a lot of my illustrations on my Gallery Page, and currently
I am working on a good method to present my music and 3D models, too.
As for this blog page, I'm not entirely sure what I'll do with it yet.
I am somewhat interested in doing media analysis,
I do however somewhat doubt that I'll bring a lot of interesting content
to the table, though.
Most likely I think I will be writing a lot about different things,
topics that interest me and that I want to review and explore further,
probably also revisions of things and skills I am currently learning about.

I'm quite new to web development/coding overall but I have found a lot of joy in it, as well as software and computers in general. I'm not
particularily tech-savvy and a lot of the more complex concepts
are very hard for me to understand still,
but I know a few coding basics that I am eager to improve.
Right now I'm learning to code mostly with Lua, since I find the
Syntax very pleasant and easy to understand.
This is also the reason why this site relies on Lua (with Fengari)
instead of javascript, I just find it a lot nicer to work with, and have
grown quite fond of it. Naturally I have also dabbled in LÖVE2D and pico-8, and I am looking forward to posting some small games or applications that I made in the future.

Other than that there's not much to say about me. I put some more
miscellanious short-form info on the left.
